Travelling from Vigo: take the A52 at Junction 229 direction Ourense, then follow directions below (Oruense)

Travelling from Madrid take either the A52 until Ourense (Junction 229) or the A6 until Ponferrada. Then follow directions below.

Travelling from Ourense: in Ourense take the N120, which is the road beside the River Miño. Outside of Ourense take the N525 direction Santiago - Note DO NOT FOLLOW the signs for the Parador Santo Estevo or the Ribeira Sacra. At a village named Cambeo take the N540 direction Lugo and Chantada. Now follow the directions from Chantada given below.

Travelling from Chantada: on the CG 2.1 (LU 533) (Chantada to Monforte de Lemos highway) turn right at the sign-posted for 'Casa Santo Estevo' at highway distance marker 7.5 km (LU 533).

Travelling from Monforte: when travelling out on the LU617 (Chantada highway) we suggest that, at the second roundabout, to use the CG 2.1, signposted CHANTADA/LALIN and NOT TO USE the HIGHWAY SIGNPOSTED ' TOR/ESCAIRÓN' (LU 617). Join the CG 2.1 via the slip road. Keep on this road but note when just past Escarión the road number changes to the LU 533. At highway distance marker 7.5 km.you will see signs for 'Casa Santo Estevo'. Do not turn right cross any solid white lines. Travel 100m. further until you get to the turing for Pesqueiras. Use this juntion to turn back up the LU533. The turn for the house is now on the right.

Travelling form Ponferrada: use the N120 towards Ourense. This road by-passes Monforte. Once past Monforte there will be direction signs for the CG 2.1, (Direction - Chantada and Santiago ). This is a new road, which is not on many maps. Keep on this road but note when just past Escarión the road number changes to the LU 533. At highway distance marker 7.5 km.you will see signs for 'Casa Santo Estevo'. Do not turn right cross any solid white lines. Travel 100m. further until you get to the turing for Pesqueiras. Use this juntion to turn back up the LU533. The turn for the house is now on the right.
